1. Purpose of the service

Matrix Hanzi provides tools and information intended to support Chinese-language learning. It does not provide official certification, professional linguistic assessment, academic accreditation, or guaranteed learning outcomes.

2. Eligibility

You must use Matrix Hanzi in compliance with applicable law. If you are not legally able to accept these Terms, use the website only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Permitted use

Subject to these Terms, you may use Matrix Hanzi for personal and lawful learning purposes. You may:

• View learning content
• Use available learning modes
• Save learning preferences locally
• Practice typing, listening, writing, and speaking
• Report errors
• Use limited portions for personal study notes with appropriate attribution where relevant

No ownership interest is transferred to you.

4. Prohibited use

You may not:

• Systematically scrape, crawl, copy, download, or extract the dataset
• Reproduce or distribute substantial portions of the database
• Republish content as another learning product or dataset
• Sell, sublicense, lease, publish, or redistribute access keys
• Circumvent technical limits or usage controls
• Interfere with servers, APIs, security systems, or service availability
• Generate automated or abnormal requests
• Violate copyright, privacy, data-protection, or other rights
• Misrepresent an official affiliation with Matrix Hanzi
• Remove copyright, attribution, security, or ownership notices
• Use Matrix Hanzi for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or harmful purposes

5. Intellectual property

The Matrix Hanzi brand, interface, source code, original selection and organization of content, database structure, schemas, original explanations, generated illustrations, and independently developed materials are protected to the extent permitted by law.

Basic linguistic facts, public-domain materials, third-party marks, official terminology, and materials owned by others remain subject to their respective legal status. Matrix Hanzi does not claim exclusive ownership over facts or materials that cannot lawfully be exclusively owned.

6. User-provided text

Some features may allow you to paste or type your own text. You are responsible for having the right to use it. Do not submit confidential information or unlawfully copied content. Matrix Hanzi does not claim ownership over text that remains stored only on your device.

7. Third-party services

Matrix Hanzi may rely on Google Analytics, Microsoft Azure, Cloudflare, browser speech functions, payment providers, social-media services, and other third parties. Availability and performance may be affected by those providers.

8. Speaking AI

Speaking AI is experimental. Output may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, or affected by background noise, microphone quality, accent, speaking speed, connectivity, and technology limitations.

Results support learning only and are not an official or professional pronunciation assessment. Additional conditions apply under the Speaking AI Beta Program.

9. Changes to the website

Matrix Hanzi may:

• Add, change, or remove features
• Correct or update data
• Change datasets
• Limit resource-intensive features
• Suspend a feature for maintenance or security
• Modify the experimental commercial model
• Stop offering a feature or the website

Where reasonably possible, Matrix Hanzi will try to avoid unfairly removing purchased access without an appropriate remedy.

10. No guarantee of continuous availability

Matrix Hanzi is provided on an “as available” basis. Maintenance, outages, API limits, errors, attacks, data loss, network failures, or third-party disruptions may occur. Continuous availability is not guaranteed.

11. Accuracy disclaimer

Matrix Hanzi reviews educational data but does not guarantee every character, pinyin entry, meaning, example, translation, mnemonic, classification, image, audio result, or AI response is completely accurate. Verify important information through reliable sources or qualified teachers.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Matrix Hanzi and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or purely economic loss arising from reliance on educational content, loss of locally stored progress, third-party outages, AI output, or unauthorized key use. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Reporting problems

Users may report:

• Incorrect learning content
• Technical errors
• Privacy concerns
• Suspected copyright infringement
• Unauthorized key distribution
• Security vulnerabilities

Contact matrixhanzi@gmail.com. Security vulnerabilities should not be exploited or publicly disclosed before a reasonable investigation period.

14. Suspension and termination

Matrix Hanzi may restrict or terminate access to a key or feature where there is reasonable evidence of:

• Key sharing or resale
• Automated abuse
• Security interference
• Fraudulent payment
• Excessive abnormal usage
• Violation of these Terms
• Conduct causing technical or financial harm

Where appropriate, Matrix Hanzi may contact the affected user before or after action is taken.

15. Governing principles and disputes

The parties should first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith communication. These Terms are intended to operate consistently with mandatory laws applicable to Matrix Hanzi and the user. Non-waivable consumer rights remain unaffected.

16. Changes to these Terms

Matrix Hanzi may update these Terms when features, technologies, service providers, or commercial arrangements change. The updated version will show a new effective date. Material changes affecting paid access should not be applied retroactively in an unfair manner.

1. Mục đích dịch vụ

Matrix Hanzi cung cấp công cụ và thông tin nhằm hỗ trợ học tiếng Trung. Nền tảng không cung cấp chứng chỉ chính thức, đánh giá ngôn ngữ chuyên nghiệp, công nhận học thuật hoặc cam kết kết quả học tập.

2. Điều kiện sử dụng

Người dùng phải sử dụng Matrix Hanzi phù hợp với pháp luật áp dụng. Nếu chưa đủ khả năng pháp lý để chấp nhận Điều khoản, chỉ nên dùng website với sự cho phép và giám sát của phụ huynh hoặc người giám hộ.

3. Phạm vi sử dụng được phép

Theo Điều khoản này, người dùng có thể dùng Matrix Hanzi cho mục đích học tập cá nhân và hợp pháp, bao gồm:

• Xem nội dung học tập
• Sử dụng các chế độ học
• Lưu tùy chọn học tập trên thiết bị
• Luyện gõ, nghe, viết và nói
• Báo lỗi
• Dùng một phần giới hạn cho ghi chú cá nhân, kèm ghi nguồn khi phù hợp

Việc sử dụng không chuyển giao quyền sở hữu.

4. Hành vi bị cấm

Người dùng không được:

• Thu thập, crawl, scrape, sao chép hoặc tải dataset có hệ thống
• Sao chép hoặc phân phối phần đáng kể của cơ sở dữ liệu
• Đăng lại nội dung thành sản phẩm hoặc dataset khác
• Bán, cấp lại, cho thuê, công khai hoặc phân phối key
• Vượt qua giới hạn kỹ thuật hoặc cơ chế kiểm soát lượt
• Can thiệp máy chủ, API, bảo mật hoặc khả năng hoạt động
• Tạo yêu cầu tự động hoặc bất thường
• Xâm phạm bản quyền, quyền riêng tư hoặc quyền hợp pháp khác
• Giả mạo liên kết chính thức với Matrix Hanzi
• Xóa thông báo bản quyền, ghi nguồn, bảo mật hoặc sở hữu
• Sử dụng cho mục đích trái pháp luật, lừa dối, lạm dụng hoặc gây hại

5. Sở hữu trí tuệ

Thương hiệu, giao diện, mã nguồn, cách lựa chọn và tổ chức nội dung nguyên gốc, cấu trúc cơ sở dữ liệu, schema, phần giải thích, hình ảnh tạo riêng và tài liệu phát triển độc lập được bảo vệ trong phạm vi pháp luật cho phép.

Dữ kiện ngôn ngữ cơ bản, tài liệu công cộng, nhãn hiệu bên thứ ba, thuật ngữ chính thức và tài liệu thuộc quyền người khác giữ nguyên trạng thái pháp lý. Matrix Hanzi không tuyên bố độc quyền đối với dữ kiện hoặc tài liệu không thể sở hữu độc quyền hợp pháp.

6. Văn bản do người dùng nhập

Một số tính năng cho phép dán hoặc nhập văn bản riêng. Người dùng chịu trách nhiệm bảo đảm có quyền sử dụng. Không gửi thông tin bí mật hoặc nội dung sao chép trái phép. Matrix Hanzi không tuyên bố quyền sở hữu với văn bản chỉ lưu trên thiết bị người dùng.

7. Dịch vụ bên thứ ba

Matrix Hanzi có thể phụ thuộc vào Google Analytics, Microsoft Azure, Cloudflare, chức năng giọng nói của trình duyệt, nhà cung cấp thanh toán, mạng xã hội và bên thứ ba khác. Tính khả dụng và hiệu suất có thể bị ảnh hưởng bởi họ.

8. Speaking AI

Speaking AI là tính năng thử nghiệm. Kết quả có thể chưa đầy đủ, không chính xác, bị chậm, không khả dụng hoặc bị ảnh hưởng bởi tiếng ồn, microphone, giọng nói, tốc độ nói, kết nối và giới hạn công nghệ.

Kết quả chỉ hỗ trợ học tập, không phải đánh giá phát âm chính thức hoặc chuyên nghiệp. Điều kiện bổ sung áp dụng theo Chương trình Speaking AI Beta.

9. Thay đổi website

Matrix Hanzi có thể:

• Thêm, sửa hoặc xóa tính năng
• Hiệu chỉnh dữ liệu
• Thay đổi dataset
• Giới hạn tính năng tốn tài nguyên
• Tạm ngừng để bảo trì hoặc bảo mật
• Điều chỉnh mô hình thương mại thử nghiệm
• Ngừng cung cấp tính năng hoặc website

Trong phạm vi hợp lý, Matrix Hanzi sẽ cố gắng tránh loại bỏ bất công quyền truy cập đã mua mà không có phương án phù hợp.

10. Không bảo đảm hoạt động liên tục

Matrix Hanzi được cung cấp theo khả năng sẵn có. Website có thể gặp bảo trì, gián đoạn, giới hạn API, lỗi, tấn công, mất dữ liệu, sự cố mạng hoặc gián đoạn bên thứ ba. Không bảo đảm hoạt động liên tục.

11. Giới hạn về độ chính xác

Matrix Hanzi rà soát dữ liệu nhưng không bảo đảm mọi Hán tự, pinyin, nghĩa, ví dụ, bản dịch, mnemonic, phân loại, hình ảnh, kết quả âm thanh hoặc phản hồi AI hoàn toàn chính xác. Hãy kiểm tra thông tin quan trọng bằng nguồn đáng tin cậy hoặc giáo viên có chuyên môn.

12. Giới hạn trách nhiệm

Trong phạm vi pháp luật cho phép, Matrix Hanzi và người vận hành không chịu trách nhiệm đối với tổn thất gián tiếp, đặc biệt, phát sinh, hệ quả hoặc kinh tế thuần túy do phụ thuộc nội dung, mất tiến độ cục bộ, gián đoạn bên thứ ba, kết quả AI hoặc key bị dùng trái phép. Không nội dung nào loại trừ trách nhiệm mà pháp luật không cho phép loại trừ.

13. Báo cáo vấn đề

Người dùng có thể báo cáo:

• Nội dung học tập sai
• Lỗi kỹ thuật
• Vấn đề quyền riêng tư
• Nghi ngờ xâm phạm bản quyền
• Phân phối key trái phép
• Lỗ hổng bảo mật

Liên hệ matrixhanzi@gmail.com. Không nên khai thác hoặc công khai lỗ hổng trước khi Matrix Hanzi có thời gian hợp lý để kiểm tra.

14. Hạn chế và chấm dứt

Matrix Hanzi có thể hạn chế hoặc chấm dứt key hay tính năng nếu có cơ sở hợp lý về:

• Chia sẻ hoặc bán lại key
• Lạm dụng tự động
• Can thiệp bảo mật
• Thanh toán gian lận
• Mức sử dụng bất thường
• Vi phạm Điều khoản
• Hành vi gây tổn hại kỹ thuật hoặc tài chính

Khi phù hợp, Matrix Hanzi có thể liên hệ người dùng trước hoặc sau khi xử lý.

15. Nguyên tắc giải quyết tranh chấp

Các bên nên ưu tiên giải quyết tranh chấp bằng trao đổi thiện chí. Điều khoản được xây dựng phù hợp với quy định bắt buộc áp dụng cho Matrix Hanzi và người dùng. Quyền người tiêu dùng không thể từ bỏ vẫn được giữ nguyên.

16. Thay đổi Điều khoản

Matrix Hanzi có thể cập nhật Điều khoản khi tính năng, công nghệ, nhà cung cấp hoặc mô hình thương mại thay đổi. Bản cập nhật sẽ có ngày hiệu lực mới. Thay đổi quan trọng ảnh hưởng quyền truy cập trả phí không nên được áp dụng hồi tố bất công.
